Conditions Treated

Chinese medicine is a very comprehensive system of medicine. By getting to the root of imbalance it works with your body at the deepest level to establish or maintain balance and produce true healing instead of suppressing symptoms. Acute health care issues can usually respond relatively quickly similarly to how they presented, like the way a cold or flu comes on fast. Chronic conditions are set in a bit deeper within the body and takes more time to respond. Part of rebalancing your body has to do with being a committed patient and putting forth the effort to nourish your body back to health while allowing yourself some time. Chinese medicine is an effective treatment alone or in conjunction with Western medicine and it’s important to communicate with all of your healthcare providers.

According to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the World Health Organization (WHO), acupuncture effectively treats many health problems, including the following:

Anxiety, Arthritis, Asthma, Chronic Fatigue, Common Cold, Constipation, Cough, Depression, Diarrhea, Digestive Disorder, Dizziness, Eye Disorder, Fatigue, Fibromyalgia, Headache, Infertility, Hiccup, Incontinence, Indigestion, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Low Back  Pain, Menopause, Menstrual Irregularities, Migraine, Nausea, Pain, PMS, Rhinitis, Sciatica, Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), Shoulder Pain, Sleep Disturbances, Smoking Cessation, Sore Throat, Stress, Trigeminal Neuralgia, Wrist Pain.
